How to make a playlist

First go to the Library screen. Notice on the right a column of checkboxes. Check the songs you want on your playlist.

Click Add Selected Songs and View Playlist. You can add more songs from the Library or Tags screens. Each time you select songs click Add Selected Songs and View Playlist.

When you are done adding songs you can enter a description of your playlist and a name for it. Please use only letters, numbers, spaces and underscores in the playlist name.

To reorder the songs check Sort. Or you can check Shuffle for a random order. Leave both boxes unchecked to play the playlist in the order you see it.

Click Submit and your playlist will be saved. You will now see the playlist page. Play that thing and enjoy it.

If you checked sort you will first go to a page where you can reorder your playlist. Instructions are on that page. After you reorder your songs you click Submit just like above.

You can play the playlist in your media player by clicking the title in the playlist box at the top of the playlist page. This downloads an m3u playlist to your computer for your media player to play. m3u playlists play in almost anything but for some reason Winamp does it best.

Or just below that click popup flash player to play the playlist in the XSPF Web Player. This sends the xspf playlist to an xspf player which runs in flash in a popup window. Either way you are free to navigate away from the playlist page without stopping the audio.

How to put KGPL on a website or myspace page.

Whenever you see a list of songs or playlists notice the + sign on the left in each row. This + sign will open a more info page. On this page is a widget you can copy and paste onto your website.

You can also go to this page for more info about KGPL Widgets.
